King of The Hill

From a very early age, the wolf pup will test his lung capacity with a customary howl, and once you have heard an adault wolf howling in the wild, it is a sound you will never forget. A much-maligned animal, the wolf is as much a part of our ecosystem as is any other animal and should be given every opportunity to thrive in today's wild as he did in years past. unfortunately many of the wolfs' numbers have been depleted for one reason or another, and there are few to be found in the lower 48 states, compared to their number in the late 1800's.

The painting depicts a wolf family in front of their den, one pup getting a "howl" while his brother reacts with a raised paw, and mom wonders, "Here we go again."
